We believe in you
Seeking justice for survivors of institutional child sexual abuse is more than a job, it's our cause.
We use our experience and skills to achieve justice for those who have been harmed and betrayed by trusted individuals and institutions.
If you are a survivor of child sexual abuse by anyone in a position of power or responsibility, call us today for a free and confidential discussion. Our team is here to help.
AO Advocates recently brought a claim against the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society (Jehovah's Witnesses) at the High Court. We represent a 29 year old woman who was sexually abused from the ages of 5 to 9 by Peter Stewart, a Ministerial Servant who was known by the Jehovah's Witnesses to be a child abuser. They did nothing to protect the children to whom he had access, failing to inform any parents in the congregation that a known abuser was entering their family homes. We have argued that they are vicariously liable for his actions.
The Jehovah's Witnesses are historically secretive but through litigation by our friend Rick Simons in the Candace Conti case in California, the world learned of secret letters sent from Watchtower HQ in New York to all bodies of elders all over the world. We are a skilled team of advocates in London serving adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse by priests, clergy, teachers, headmasters and others in a position of trust.
